Our Recycling Services

We offer a comprehensive recycling service. Collecting waste from you, whether that be wastepaper, waste plastic and polythene, or company documents, processing it in an appropriate manner and preparing it for recycling. This saves energy and water and contributes towards climate targets.

Wastepaper Collection 
and Recycling

Business in industries such as printing, packaging, mailing, die cutting/finishing etc produce wastepaper as a by-product of their processes. Not only do they need to dispose of this paper in an ethical way, but they can also benefit financially from it. We pay competitive prices for wastepaper, and you can be assured that we process it in a responsible manner that allows us all to contribute to maintaining environmental standards.

Once your wastepaper is collected, each load is weighed using a calibrated weigh bridge scale, which produces a weight ticket. A copy of this is available to the customer on request. Want to know how much your wastepaper weighs before it’s collected? We also provide a free mobile weight checking service at your premises. Once weighed, the material is sorted and baled and then dispatched to recycling mills in the UK and Europe.

Company Document Shredding

Company data requires sensitive management and that not only applies to online systems; hard copies must be dealt with properly too. All businesses produce documents that must be disposed of securely but especially professional services such as law firms, accountants, management consultants, and financial organisations. We guarantee that all company data is handled in a secure manner throughout the collection, shredding, and recycling process that complies with all GDPR regulations.

Plastic and Polythene 
Collection and Recycling

Waste plastic is an eco-nightmare. Simply throwing it away in standard waste will not guarantee it won’t find its way into the environment (each year we throw away enough plastic to wrap around Earth four times). Our plastic and polythene collection and recycling service allows you to dispose of these materials ethically. Like paper, this may have a revenue value.

Reel Splitting

The industrial equipment we have at Stan Ellis means we can safely split large, heavy paper reels (this cannot be done with standard equipment), making them more practical to handle. Our service is fast, efficient, and precise. Reel splitting can be offered as a service or we can buy your end of line reels, whether large or small.

All products broken down in our depot are baled and sent on an environmentally approved mill where they are made into new products from tissues to packaging.
